MSR Kustoms specialise in the restoration of classic muscle and street cars, hotrods, customs, early British, Japanese and American motorcycles. We're located in Salisbury, Queensland and proudly owned by Brendon and Sandra Gorman. Our workshop is headed up by Production Manager Michael Stewart and the team at MSR Kustoms has over 30 years experience.

Our 900m2 workshop can cater for multiple projects at a time. For a full body restoration our turnaround time is generally 12 weeks, which may vary depending on the car and the customer’s requirements. With only fully qualified and experienced tradespeople, we stand by quality of our workmanship. For this reason, each restoration is fully photographically documented and our stage-based process is completely transparent.

Our clients are encouraged to visit our workshop at any stage during the restoration process to ensure their, and our, satisfaction. We take pride in our relationship with our clients. For this reason, we have the privilege of multiple return customers and can rely on word-of-mouth for the majority of our projects.

Restoration – Full rotisserie restoration, back-to-factory or original specifications or a staged restoration to suit your budget, we have got it covered. Our rust repair service ranges from minor repair of door skins to major floor pan repair or replacement. We also offer comprehensive project management of your restoration process including drive lines, transmission, motor, interior trim and electrical work.

Fabrication - Custom body parts, engine mounts, inner guards, scoops. Our workshop is equipped with metal folders, english wheel, swayging jenny, pipe benders and associated tooling.

Modification - Chop-tops, flared or rolled guards, shaved doors and engine bays, sectioning, suicide door kits.

Paint and effects - Bare metal resprays, colour changes, colour matching, pin-striping, candies, pearls, flakes, chameleons, flames and ghost graphics. Our customers are also welcome to request their own preference to which paint system they would like to be used on their project, this is all part of our flexible service.

Graphics - Custom graphic design, factory decals, racing stripes, scallops. We also cut our own vinyl graphics and masks on site. Speak to us about your vehicle signage requirements or corporate branding of your fleet or trade vehicle.

Insurance – We understand that having an accident in your daily driver or your weekend cruizer is never a pleasant experience. To help make you feel a little better, at your request, we are able to liaise directly with your insurance company to get your claim processed and you back on the road with as little inconvenience as possible.

Transport - For our local, regional and interstate customers we can arrange the transport of your next project to and from our workshop.

Powercruise Powerplay

Queensland Raceway, Willowbank, Brisbane

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

From old school V8 Muscle to Imports to Hot Rods and everything in between, they will all be out in force and with hundreds of entrants making their way through the gates last year, their sure to be eager to get onto the track for the First Carline Mufflers Powercruise session of the day which will kick of at 8am.

Wintersun

Coolangatta, Tweed Heads

Wintersun in Coolangatta will include:

Wintersun Street Parade of floats, bands and fun on Saturday 12th June starting in North Kirra at 9:45 AM and travelling along Marine Parade to Greenmount, Coolangatta.

Hot Rod, Classic & Custom Car Show in the parks and streets of Coolangatta with about 1500 cars on show all day Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June.

Live entertainment in the parks and streets of Coolangatta with about 80 bands and performers all day Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June.

Hot Rod, Classic & Custom Car cruises on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM cruising the beachfront from North Kirra and travelling along Marine Parade to Greenmount, Coolangatta.

Greazefest

Rocklea Showground, Rocklea, Brisbane

9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

The GreazeFest is the 'must-do' kustom kulture event in the Southern Hemisphere.

Held in Brisbane, Australia, the GreazeFest is a crankin' weekend of cool cars, rockabilly tunes, vintage bikes, lowrider cycles, low brow art, pinstripers, tattoos and vintage threads.

The event is now in it's eleventh year and it has become an annual ritual for kustom kulture devotees from all over the world.
